Latvian National Title Time Trial and Road Race Silver
It was a successful championship week for the Saarland-based professional team BIKE AID. The first highlight came on Monday when Kristiāns Belohvoščiks claimed the Latvian Elite National Time Trial Championship.
A race that climbs towards the Col d'Aspin, then turns right over the Hourquette d'Ancizan before descending into Loudenvielle is never just another race. And BIKE AID is there.
An intensive week of racing lies behind the Saarland-based professional team BIKE AID. For the first time in its history, the team received an invitation to the Tour de Wallonie, a UCI ProSeries race and therefore one of the highest categories in professional cycling below the WorldTour.
Last week, the Tour of Hellas, the official national tour of Greece, started in Ioannina in northwestern Greece, not far from the Albanian border. For BIKE AID, the five-day UCI 2.1 race once again became a strong international performance.
