Kenyan Suleiman Kangangi finishes 3rd at Tour du Rwanda

Wednesday, Nov 22, 2017 in Pro Cycling

At the end of this year’s Tour du Rwanda, Kenyan rider Suleiman Kangangi reched a great 3rd place in the general classification. A very special success.

Suleiman was a strong and reliable domestique for Niko Holler throughout the whole season and supported him with a lot of passion when Niko won Tour du Cameroun or Tour of Poyang Lake. But this time, Suleiman could proof that he is also able to finish a one-week stage race on a spot on the podium.  3rd place at one of the hardest race at the UCI Africa Tour.

But this result is more than just a good result. It shows, that the whole project, to develop African riders with a sustainable program is on the right way and we can expect more good results from riders from Kenya in the future.
