Saturday, Nov 18, 2017 in Pro Cycling

Eritrean rider Metkel Eyob won today's penultimate stage at Tour du Rwanda in front of enthusiastic crowds at Wall of Kigali. Kangangi defends 3rd overall.

The wall of Kigali - a 12% steep climb up to the finish over cobblestones and in front of enthusiastic crowd. Pictures that every cycling fan loves and what makes this race so special. Today's stage led again through this awesome sector and showed another reason why Rwanda is a cycling country!

After a week of great racing, hard work, and chages in the lead almost every day, the guys arrived to Kigali today. And it was again the dominating Duo Metkel Eyob and Joseph Areruya who entered first the finish area. Eyob took the stage win and is now the record holder of stage wins at Tour du Rwanda.

Areruya finsihed 2nd and is close now to win this year's overall ranking of Tour du Rwanda.

BIKE AID rider Suleiman Kangangi from Kenya came in on 7th place just 11s down on the winner and could defend his 3rd place in GC before the guys head into last stage tomorrow.
